When Alfonso Colomer Pastor and Lino Suárez Vázquez acquired a distribution company located on the southern town of Ponce, Puerto Rico, in 1943, they forged an inseparable bond between themselves and their families, which basically set the tone for our corporate culture. Colomer & Suárez was then passed on to Alfredo Suárez Ramírez and Alfredo Colomer González as second generation, and finally to Alfredo Suárez Serrallés.
Alfonso and Lino’s work ethic and dedication were passed along as well, while these three generations incorporated various renowned international and regional brands to our roster, such as Kraft and La Esperanza, our local brand.
We serve with excellence a broad spectrum of industry leaders, such as all supermarket chains, independent supermarkets, club stores, department stores, and chain pharmacies. For more than 70 years, we have served them all with the same passion and dedication we inherited from past generations, as well as with the professionalism and expertise they deserve from a wholesale distributor.
