Since 1943 we are the distributor who knows Puerto Rico best from coast to coast. The brands we represent have been entering the homes of Puerto Rican consumers for decades. And we plan on doing the same with every brand we distribute.

For eight decades, we have served the consumer goods distribution business exceptionally well, growing steadily, moving with the times, and anticipating our customers’ needs to help them succeed in the Puerto Rican market.

Founded in 1943 by businessmen Alfonso Colomer Pastor and Lino Suárez Vázquez, Colomer & Suárez began as a small grocery, dairy, and frozen food distribution company. Three generations and eighty years later, we remain solid and strong as a distributor thanks to our commitment and loyalty to the business and our customers.

We currently operate two main distribution centers to better serve the entire island: a 93,000-square-foot warehouse in San Juan and a new 53,000-square-foot warehouse in Ponce.

We have distribution facilities of 146,000 square feet of warehouse space means that we are a serious business committed to the Puerto Rican market.

Today, under the leadership of Mr. Alfredo Suárez Serrallés, as well as with a highly qualified and experienced team, Colomer & Suárez is considered the most effective food distribution company in Puerto Rico, with an average of less than 5% out-of-stocks at the customer level (compared to a 15% market average) and 98% occupancy rate at the distribution level.
